Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And We sent down from the rain-bearing clouds abundant water)
And when He mentioned the blazing lamp, which provides heat and dryness, He mentioned what is its opposite;So he said: [Al-Naba: 14] Water contains moisture and coolness, and this water also causes the earth to grow and come to life. When the water from the sky is added to the heat of the sun, this results in the ripening of fruits and their growth to the best possible extent: [Al-Naba: 14] That is, the clouds, and Allah described them as the rain-bearing clouds; as if they are squeezing out this rain when it descends, just as milk is squeezed from the udder,And his statement: [Al-Naba: 14] That is, abundant in flow and wide.
