Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And We sent down from the stormy clouds abundant rain)

Allah the Exalted said:
And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water
[Al-Naba: 14] (The stormy clouds) are the clouds, and they are called "stormy clouds" because they are in the position of one who wrings water from a garment, for this water penetrates this cloud and comes out of it just as water comes out of a wrung garment.Allah the Exalted said:
Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it.
[Al-Nur: 43] And His saying: (abundant rain) means: much pouring down, meaning: the downpour; and that is due to its abundance and strength until it saturates the earth.
