The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
This is the second session of this month, Safar, in the year 1413, corresponding to a Thursday. The brothers informed us that we will suspend the session for two weeks due to travel to the Hijaz, if Allah wills.
We decided to begin with the exegesis of Juz 'Amma, and in the previous lesson we took the first surah of 'Amma up to the saying of the Exalted:[An-Naba 78:10-11] Then the Exalted said: [An-Naba 78:12] These are the seven heavens, and Allah the Exalted described them as firmly set because they are strong, as He the Exalted said: [Adh-Dhariyat 51:47] meaning: We built them with strength.
[An-Naba 78:12-13]: By this is meant the sun. It is a bright lamp, and it also possesses great, intense heat. Its heat, as you see in the days of summer, is severe despite its crushing distance from the earth. So what do you think of what is near it?
Furthermore, in the days of heat, its intense heat is from the scorching heat of Hell, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Ibn Majah 677Sahih (Darussalam), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 3260 from the cold, from the bitter cold of the bitter cold of Hell; we seek refuge in Allah from it. .
And yet, it has a great benefit for creation. It saves creation great wealth during the day, where people dispense with lighting lamps because of it. Also, the energy extracted from it has many benefits, as well as the ripening of fruits and other numerous benefits from this lamp that Allah the Mighty and Majestic made for His servants.
When He mentioned the blazing lamp, which brings heat and dryness, He mentioned what is opposite to it, saying:[An-Naba 78:14] Water contains moisture and coolness. This water also causes the earth to grow and come to life. When this water from the sky is added to the heat of the sun, it results in the ripening of fruits and their growth in the most perfect way.
[An-Naba 78:14]: This means from the clouds. Allah described them as those that send forth water, as if they are squeezing this water when it descends, just as milk is squeezed from the udder. And His saying: means: flowing abundantly and widely.
[An-Naba 78:15-16] To bring forth with this water that descends from the sky to the earth, so that the earth grows, and Allah brings forth with it grain of all its varieties and types, from wheat, barley, corn, and others, and plants, such as fruits like figs, grapes, and the like.
Meaning: gardens, interwoven with one another due to their abundance, beauty, and splendor.
When Allah mentioned what He bestowed upon the servants, He mentioned the state of the Last Day, which is an appointed time when Allah will gather the first and the last. We will speak about this in another session, if Allah wills. We ask Allah for us and for you beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds, and that He make our work sincere for Allah and in accordance with His pleasure. We now begin with the questions, and each of the brothers has a question to ask.

We decided to begin with the exegesis of Juz 'Amma, and in the previous lesson we took the first surah of 'Amma up to the saying of the Exalted:
(10) And made the night as clothing (11) And made the day for livelihood
And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.
(12) And constructed above you seven strong [heavens] (13) And made [therein] a burning lamp
Furthermore, in the days of heat, its intense heat is from the scorching heat of Hell, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire.
The (Hell) Fire complained to its Lord saying, 'O my Lord! My different parts eat up each other.' So, He allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in summer, and this is the reason for the severe heat and the bitter cold you find (in weather).
And the most severe of what it becomes is the heat from the scorching heat of Hell.
And yet, it has a great benefit for creation. It saves creation great wealth during the day, where people dispense with lighting lamps because of it. Water, flowing abundantly
(15) That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation (16) And gardens of entwined growth.
And plants
ونباتاand gardens, one after another
