The man's position regarding what happens between his mother and his wife

His Eminence the Shaykh: A woman lives with her husband and her husband's mother in one house, but the husband's mother harms this wife with words, cursing, insults, and contempt many times. Does this wife have the right to ask for a house for herself and her children, given that the husband's mother lives with her husband and her youngest daughter, and they are able to serve themselves without hardship? What is the correct position of the husband regarding his mother's behavior toward his wife?Then, is it said: Is it considered dutifulness to his parents for him to remain with his mother in one house despite these problems? Please advise us, may Allah reward you.
If this person is able to rectify this situation, let him rectify it. If he cannot, I do not see that the wife should remain with her husband's mother in this state; because life will be a source of annoyance for the wife, for the husband's mother, and for the husband himself. Hearts are like glass; if they break, they do not mend.
If the affection between hearts diverges, it is like a glass whose break cannot be mended.

So you must do several things: First: look at who is in the wrong.

Second: Rectify the error if you can.

Third: If you cannot, it is not in the interest for the wife to remain with her husband's mother with these problems.
