Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (so that they may see their deeds)]
Allah the Exalted said: [al-Zalzalah: 6] meaning: they will come forth in separate groups and see their deeds. Allah the Exalted will show them their deeds; if good, then good, and if evil, then evil. This is through the reckoning and the record. The human being is given the book either in his right hand or in his left, and then he is reckoned based on what is in this book. Allah Mighty and Majestic reckons him. As for the believer, Allah the Exalted isolates him alone and confronts him with his sins, saying: You did such and such, and you did such and such, and you did such and such, and you did such and such, until he acknowledges and confesses,So when he sees that he is perished, Allah Mighty and Majestic says: (Indeed, I concealed them from you in the worldly life, and today I forgive them for you) , As for the disbeliever, may Allah protect us from that, he is not treated with this treatment. Rather, it is proclaimed over the heads of the witnesses: [Hud: 18] And His saying: [al-Zalzalah: 6] This is an annexed noun, and the annexed noun implies generality,And its apparent meaning is: that they see the small and large deeds. And it is so, except for what Allah has forgiven beforehand through good deeds or supplication or the like of that. This is erased, as Allah the Exalted said: [Hud: 114] The human being sees his deed; he sees his little and much, until the matter becomes clear to him, and he is given his book, and it is said: [al-Isra: 14] For this reason, it is obligatory for the human being not to proceed with anything that does not please Allah Mighty and Majestic; because he knows that it is written upon him, and that he will be reckoned for it.
