Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Did he not know that Allah sees”]
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Alaq: 14] He, Glorified and Exalted is He, sees with knowledge and with the eye. Thus, He, Glorified and Exalted is He, sees everything, no matter how hidden or fine it is, and He knows everything, no matter how far away, how much, or how little. He knows the one who commands and the one who forbids, He knows the one who prays and the one who prostrates, and He knows the one who transgresses and the one who submits to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And He will reward every person for his deed. And the intended meaning of this is: This is a warning to the one who forbids a servant when he prays, and a clarification that Allah the Exalted knows the state of the one who prays and the state of the one who forbids him, and He will reward each of them with what he deserves.
We ask Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, to make us and you among those who prostrate to Allah, who command the mindfulness of Allah, upon guidance from Allah and light. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
