I am asking you to explain a verse from the Qur'an. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:

And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.

وَمَا هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

[Al-'Ankabut: 64] ?

The meaning: That the reality of this worldly life is that it is amusement with which people amuse themselves, (and play) with which they play, and it is not serious. Therefore, purely worldly work is nothing but play that vanishes into nothingness.
(And the Hereafter is truly the life) meaning: it is truly the complete life. The word "life" here is not the known life, but rather the complete life, as Allah the Exalted said:

He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."

يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي

[Al-Fajr: 24] So it is the complete life,And his statement:

if they only knew.

لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

[Al-Baqarah 2:102]

meaning: if they had been people of knowledge, they would not have preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter; rather, they would have preferred the Hereafter over the worldly life,And perhaps you think that "life" means: donkeys and the like, and it is not so. The meaning of "life" is the complete life, and for this reason we say: the alif and nun here are added for emphasis and exaggeration.
