Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And the morning brightness, and the night when it becomes still)]
Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Dhuha:1-2] (The morning brightness) is the beginning of the day, in which there is light and radiance, (and the night when it becomes still) is the night when it covers the earth and casts its darkness over it,So Allah the Exalted swore by two distinct things: The first: the morning brightness, in which there is radiance and light.
And the second: The night when it becomes still, in which there is darkness, (and the night when it becomes still) meaning: it covers the earth with its darkness.
Allah the Exalted says:
And the morning brightness, and the night when it becomes still
وَالضُّحَى * وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىAnd the second: The night when it becomes still, in which there is darkness, (and the night when it becomes still) meaning: it covers the earth with its darkness.
