Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And Allah is behind them, encompassing them)
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Buruj: 20] Meaning: He is their master and encompasses them, and wherever they flee, Allah the Exalted will surely catch up with them. He encompasses them in knowledge, power, and authority, and they will not escape from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) if He intends harm for them.As Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ra'd:11] .
Then Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Buruj: 21-22] We will speak about this, if Allah wills, in the next session; because it is important, and we will mention the connection between the conclusion of this surah with these two verses and its beginning with the sky containing the constellations, and the lessons and stories mentioned therein.
We ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among those who recite the Book of Allah with true recitation. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
Allah the Exalted said:
While Allah encompasses them from behind.
وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌAnd when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.
وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءاً فَلا مَرَدَّ لَهُ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍThen Allah the Exalted said:
(21) But this is an honored Qur'an (22) [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ * فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍWe ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among those who recite the Book of Allah with true recitation. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
