The Ruling on Visiting Diviners

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in his saying: (Whoever goes to a diviner and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad) Is this disbelief that expels one from the religion, or is there a distinction in this?

The hadith: (Whoever goes to a diviner and believes [him].
) ،If the diviner says to you: [He says] such and such will happen in such and such a month, and then you believed him,This entails denying the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allahقُلْ لا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
[Surat al-Naml: 65] ; because you have now believed that the speech of this fortune-teller or diviner is the truth, and this constitutes major shirk (associating partners with Allah); because anything that entails denying what Allah and His Messenger said is disbelief,Therefore, the hadith narrated by Muslim came: (Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days) , and disbelief was not mentioned; because this person asked a mere question and did not believe him, unlike if he asked him and believed him,So believing him entails denying the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allahقُلْ لا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
[Surat al-Naml: 65] , and it becomes disbelief that expels one from the religion.
And we have witnessed, with the praise of Allah, their lies at the beginning of the last Gregorian year. So, unfortunately, the newspapers published that one of the female fortune-tellers said many things would happen, but we did not witness any of them, not even one; but they deceive people, and people, with their weak faith, cling to everything.
