Is being preoccupied with congregational prayer at home like being preoccupied with Friday prayer in terms of prohibition and invalidity?
Being preoccupied with Friday prayer by buying and selling after the adhan is more severe than being preoccupied with congregational prayer; because congregational prayer is valid for the one who prays alone, whereas Friday prayer is not valid.

Second: The ruling regarding congregational prayer is tied to the iqamah; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (When you hear the iqamah, walk to the prayer with calmness and composure) , whereas for Friday prayer, it is tied to the adhan.

The questioner: Does it remain valid after this, upon the iqamah in congregational prayer, meaning: if he buys or sells? The Shaykh: He is sinful without a doubt, but is it valid or not valid? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not prohibit buying and selling after the iqamah, but in Friday prayer, Allah commanded leaving it,So he said:
And leave off sellingوَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ
[Al-Jumu'ah: 9] So in Friday prayer, if he buys or sells after the adhan and he is one upon whom Friday prayer is obligatory, the sale is invalid, as for congregational prayer, I am perplexed about it now, I am suspending my judgment now.
