Machine translationRead the Arabic original
[The ruling on wearing the (shamagh) and the (ghutra)]
May Allah forgive you, O Shaykh. What is the ruling in the Shari'ah regarding wearing the (shamagh) or the (ghutra)? The Shaykh: What do you want to say?The questioner: Because there has been a lot of talk about this issue,A person says: there is no need for it;Because it causes heat on the head! The Shaykh: I mean: does he want us to make a big deal out of it?The questioner: No,He says: We do not need to wear a (shamagh).

The Shaykh: What? The questioner: He says: We do not need to wear a shamagh, and I do not know what the answer to this question is?!

Tell him:
Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?"
[Al-A'raf 7:32]
This verse,Then tell him another verse: And do not say about what your tongues describe as falsehood, "This is lawful and this is forbidden," so that you fabricate lies against Allah. Indeed, those who fabricate lies against Allah do not succeed [al-Nahl: 116].
