Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and springs)]
When He mentioned the punishment of these liars and fabricators,He said:
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
[Al-Hijr 15:45]
.
The righteousالْمُتَّقِينَ
They are: those who feared Allah. You see that taqwa (piety) occurs in the Noble Qur'an in multiple forms: sometimes as a description, sometimes as a verb, sometimes as a command, sometimes as a possessive attached to Allah, and sometimes as a possessive attached to the punishment, among other things. This indicates that taqwa is of great significance in Islam. Taqwa is not merely a word spoken with the tongue; rather, it is a word followed by action and implementation.

If you ask: What is taqwa? We said: Taqwa is two things: doing what Allah has commanded and leaving what Allah has forbidden.
Based on knowledge, proof, calculation, and fear.
You do what Allah has commanded because you know that Allah has commanded it. You do what Allah has commanded because you calculate its reward: a good deed is rewarded tenfold, up to seven hundredfold, up to many times over.
You leave what Allah has forbidden because you know that Allah has forbidden it. You leave what Allah has forbidden out of fear of Allah's punishment, because you are certain of the torment. This is taqwa.

He (Mighty and Majestic) says:
within gardens and springs.فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
[Al-Hijr 15:45]
Meaning: they are settled in gardens and springs. Al-jannat is the plural of jannah. You encounter (jannah) in the singular and (jannat) in the plural in the Qur'an. Are they multiple gardens, or is it one garden? They are multiple gardens, but the singular form is used to refer to the genus. Otherwise, they are gardens. Look at the end of Surat al-Rahman; Allah mentioned four gardens,He said:
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ
[al-Rahman: 46] ,Then he said:
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -وَمِنْ دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
[al-Rahman: 62] ,And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Two gardens of gold, their vessels and what is in them, and two gardens of silver, their vessels and what is in them) .
Therefore, the gardens are multiple.
