The Place of Saying: (Ameen) in the Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The place of saying: (Ameen) in the prayer]
The hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which is the ameen of the believers in Surat al-Fatihah,For example, the imam says: and not those who go astray,And the ma'mum naturally says: Amen,So I do not know if the imam says: Amen,Then the ma'mums respond behind him: Amen,Or if he says: and not those who go astray,They said: Ameen? The Shaykh: When he says: and not those who go astray,They said: Amen.

The questioner: Even though Shaykh Al-Albani says: No, this is contrary to it.

First: May Allah bless you! We do not allow anyone to mention a specific scholar to us.

And it is only for you to say: Some scholars said, but as for so-and-so and so-and-so, you never mention them to us; we do not want that.

But if it is Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who narrated: (When the imam says ameen, then say ameen), it is he who narrated: (When the imam says: and not those who go astray,Say: ameen), and on this basis, the meaning of his saying: when he says ameen,Meaning: when he reaches the place of ameen, which is his saying: (and not those who go astray), or when he says ameen, meaning: when he begins to say ameen, then say ameen. The meaning is not: when he finishes saying ameen, then say ameen. So the hadith explains part of itself,If this hadith is narrated: (When he says: and not those who go astray,Say: ameen), we know the meaning of his saying: (When he says ameen, then say ameen), that the intended meaning is: when he reaches the place of ameen, or when he begins to say ameen, then say ameen with him.
