The Place of Saying "Ameen" in the Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His Eminence the Shaykh: I heard on one of the tapes of Imam Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani,In the issue of: "If the imam says 'Ameen,' then say 'Ameen.'"

And he emphasized that, saying: It is obligatory that when the imam says "Ameen,"We say after it: Amen,As for what you are saying: Is this an error?
If you have heard this, are you, or al-Albani, or so-and-so, or so-and-so, protected from error? No, we are not protected from error.
Is Shaykh al-Albani's error greater, or his correctness? His correctness is greater.
This is among the things in which he erred;Because His saying: ("If the imam says 'Ameen,' then say 'Ameen'") is explained by the second phrase in the hadith: ("When the imam says: and not the astray,Say: Ameen") When do they say it?After: "And not the astray," so with the imam,So the meaning would be: ("If the imam says 'Ameen'") means: when he reaches the place of saying "Ameen," or when he begins to say "Ameen."
And al-Albani's good deeds are more, and his correctness is greater than his error, and I do not think he intended to commit an error, but he is a mujtahid like others; if he is correct, he has two rewards, and if he errs, he has one reward, and the error is forgiven.

Interjection: O Shaykh! In al-Silsilah al-Sahihah, volume six, which is the last volume that has been published,Shaykh al-Albani retracted his statement and said: It has become clear to me that he says "Ameen" after that.
