The ruling on one who performed Hajj as a mutamatti' and forgot to shorten his hair
Some pilgrims are in the state of tamattu' and enter into the acts of Hajj without shortening their hair. In this case, are they still considered to be in the state of tamattu'?The Shaykh: Has he not already exited the state of ihram after the sa'y?The questioner: Yes.
He has exited the state of ihram now, and he is a mutamatti'. Perhaps he was unaware of the obligation of shaving,Yes, we say: He is a mutamatti' (Actions are by intentions, and every person will have only what he intended). However, the fact remains that he cannot shave now because he has entered the state of ihram. Therefore, the most cautious course, in my view, is for him to slaughter a fidyah in Makkah and distribute it to the poor on account of the shaving, in addition to the hady of tamattu'.
