The ruling on holding a microphone during prayer out of necessity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
We sometimes pray with a large group of students, and we are forced to hold the microphone in our hand during prostration, bowing, and standing. Is there any harm in this?
There is no harm in it; but why don't you buy a headset? There is a small headset that a person can put in his pocket and pray with.

The questioner: Its sound is loud; but sometimes I may have to move it away.

The Shaykh: In any case, the important point is: that this is permissible; because this is a slight movement for the benefit of the congregation, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did something similar to this. When the pulpit was made for him, he used to pray on it. He would stand on the steps and pray standing, and bow. When he wanted to prostrate, he would come down from the pulpit and prostrate. And he said: (I only did this so that you may follow me and learn my prayer) So his saying: (so that you may follow me) is analogous to the one who holds the microphone or the loudspeaker in his hand in order for those behind him to follow him.
