Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (So how was My punishment and My warnings)]

Allah the Exalted said: [Surah al-Qamar: 16] ,His statement: [Surah al-Qamar: 16] here is for magnification and wonder,Meaning: How great is the enmity and the warnings! It was also said that the interrogative is for affirmation; because Allah affirms to us the punishment and the warnings,But the first meaning is greater: that it is for magnification and glorification,Meaning: How great is My punishment that descended upon My enemies, and how great are My warnings that warn and instill fear of the punishment that will descend upon whoever defies. This is the punishment that befell the people of Noah; it is a punishment that occurred, and in relation to us, it is considered among the terrifying warnings against defying the command of Allah and His Messenger.
