Passing the Miqat without entering Ihram

Fatwa No. ( 14120 )
Q: My wife and I intended, during the school holiday in Ramadan of the year 1410 AH, to travel from the city of Khamis Mushayt to Jeddah for the purpose of recreation and performing 'Umrah. The intention was to go to Jeddah to walk around and then perform 'Umrah . This was our intention from our home. Based on this, we set out from Khamis to Jeddah and stayed for two days. Then we entered the state of ihram from Jeddah and went to the Noble Mecca to perform 'Umrah. We performed 'Umrah, praise be to Allah, and then returned to Jeddah . In addition, I was menstruating while we were on our way to Jeddah . I became pure after we had been sitting in Jeddah and walking around, and after that we performed 'Umrah. Question: Is our 'Umrah valid or not? If it is not valid, what is it considered, and what is required to make it up? And if a fidyah is required, for example, but the fidyah is not completed due to the return, is this permissible? Since this is confusing to us and we find many fatwas that differ from one another, our hope from your eminence is that you guide us to the method that benefits us. May Allah preserve you.
A : The 'Umrah is valid, and each of you owes a sacrificial animal that is acceptable as an 'Id sacrifice, to be slaughtered in Mecca and distributed to its poor; because you passed the Miqat without entering ihram, and you had intended 'Umrah from your country. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
