The ruling on one who has been deprived of his intellect while he is abandoning the prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The ruling on one who has been deprived of his intellect while he is abandoning the prayer
A man who is extravagant with himself in open sinfulness and disobedience, and among that is his complete abandonment of the prayer. Then Allah decreed that He deprived him of the blessing of intellect, and then he died in that state. What is his ruling in the two abodes?
If he was abandoning the prayer, then one who abandons the prayer is a disbeliever. So if he is deprived of his intellect, he remains in his disbelief. As for the sin, the sin does not take one out of Islam.Meaning: If he was extravagant with himself in sins, such as unlawful sexual intercourse, drinking intoxicants, theft, and other sins that do not lead to disbelief, and then he became insane and died in his insanity, then he is an open sinner. He is to be prayed over, mercy is to be sought for him, and he is to be buried with the Muslims.
