Ruling on changing the location of voluntary prayer from one place to another

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is there a preference for changing the location of prayer from one place to another?
That is, if one performs the obligatory prayer in a certain place, is it better to perform the voluntary prayer in a different place?Answer: It is better for all voluntary prayers to be performed in the house,And on this basis, if we say: It is better for them to be performed in the house, which implies changing the location. However, if a person fears that if he goes to the house he might forget, or something might happen that makes it difficult for him to perform ablution or the like, then he should pray in the mosque. The scholars said: It is better to change the location if possible. They cited as evidence the hadith of Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him),He said: (The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us not to pray one prayer after another until we go out or speak) so that there is a distinction between the obligatory and the voluntary prayer. For this reason—and Allah knows best—it is prescribed for a person, when he recites al-Fatihah aloud, to pause briefly so that it is clear that the first recitation is obligatory and the second is voluntary.
