Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (The sun and the moon move by a calculated course)]

Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Rahman: 5] After speaking about the lower world, He clarified the upper world: (The sun and the moon move by a calculated course) meaning: by a precise calculation, they move as Allah the Mighty and Majestic commanded them. The sun and the moon have not changed since Allah the Mighty and Majestic created them until He destroys them; they travel on a single path as Allah commanded them. This is evidence of the perfection of the power of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), the perfection of His dominion, and the perfection of His knowledge, that these great celestial bodies move in an organized manner without changing over long periods of years.

Therefore: (by a calculated course) by a known, precise, and highly organized calculation.
