Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (He will give you two shares of His mercy)]

Allah the Exalted said:
give you a double portion of His mercyيُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ
[Al-Hadid: 28] Meaning: two shares of the mercy of Allah. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) likened this Ummah in relation to those before it to a man who hired workers: a group from the beginning of the day until midday, a group from midday until the afternoon, and a group from the afternoon until the setting of the sun. So he gave each of the first group one dinar, each of the second group one dinar, and each of the third group two dinars. So the first group argued: Why did you give these people two dinars when they worked less than us?So he answered them by saying: Did I reduce anything from your wages? They said: No,He said: That is My favor, which I give to whom I will – praise be to Allah – so this Ummah has twice the reward of the previous nations.
