Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (O you who believe, when you converse in private, do not converse in sin and aggression)

Then Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and pietyيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَنَاجَيْتُمْ فَلا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى
[Surat al-Mujadilah: 9] When Allah mentioned the state of the Jews, that they converse in private in sin, aggression, and disobedience to the Messenger, He forbade the believers to be like them,So he said:
do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messengerفَلا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ
[Al-Mujadila 58:9]
and the opposite of that is:
but converse about righteousness and pietyوَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى
[Al-Mujadila 58:9]
(in righteousness) meaning: doing good, (and piety) avoiding evil.

Meaning: Let some of you converse with others in what contains good, either a righteousness they command, or a forbidden thing they command to fear and avoid
And fear Allah to whom you will be gathered.وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:96]
Fear Allah the Exalted, meaning: obey Allah,For piety is: by taking protection from the punishment of Allah by doing His commands and avoiding His prohibitions; for nothing protects from the punishment of Allah except this.

His saying, the Exalted:
to whom you will be gathered.الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:96]
meaning: you are gathered to Him on the Day of Resurrection, for Allah Blessed and Exalted is He gathers the first and the last on one level ground, equal, where the caller is heard and the sight penetrates. We are not on equal ground in this world, but on ground resembling a sphere, and therefore the sight does not penetrate to what is beyond the curve: the curve of the sphere, and the caller is not heard,But in the Hereafter, Allah the Mighty and Majestic says:
And when the earth has been extendedوَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
[Surat al-Inshiqaq: 3] meaning: it is stretched out as one expanse, with no mountains, no curvature, and no dwellings, and for this reason the caller is heard, because there is nothing to reflect the sound,And the sight penetrates them: and the farthest of them is seen as the nearest is seen, and all the creatures are gathered on this flat ground, with no mountains, no rivers, no valleys, or anything else.

And in His saying: And His saying:
to whom you will be gathered.الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:96]
in it is the affirmation of the resurrection, which is the Last Day, and belief in it is one of the six pillars of faith.

And the pillars of faith are: That you believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and the divine decree, its good and its evil. So whoever denies the resurrection is a disbeliever with disbelief that takes him out of the religion, and indeed, whoever doubts in it is a disbeliever with disbelief that takes him out of the religion. So let him save himself before death, and let him prepare his soul for belief in the Last Day. We are gathered to Allah and resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, and we are recompensed for our deeds, if good then good, and if evil then evil.
