What is the ruling on emigrating from lands where the rites of Islam are not established?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : First, the obligation of emigrating from the abode of war to the abode of Islam: "Al-Qurtubi narrated from Ibn al-Arabi that this emigration..." And his saying "Al-Qurtubi narrated" is an incorrect scientific expression; one must say: "Al-Qurtubi mentioned from Ibn al-Arabi."

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : "That this emigration was obligatory in the days of the Prophet, and it remains obligatory until the Day of Resurrection. The one that ceased with the conquest—the emigration from Makkah to al-Madinah ceased with the conquest—was only the intention to go to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). If one remains in the abode of war, he disobeys." This is the interpretation of Al-Qurtubi, Part [number] to the end of it. The point is: "And like the abode of war in this regard is every place where it is not possible for a Muslim to establish the Islamic rites, such as prayer, fasting, congregation, and the call to prayer."

The questioner: Allahu Akbar.

The Shaykh : "And other than that of its apparent rulings." Does this meet with that?

The questioner : By Allah, there is a great difference, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Record this for you to see.
