The Lawfulness of the Migration of the Companions from Makkah to al-Madinah.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : [The ruling concerns] the houses of the Makkans in al-Madinah. Then, two legal rulings are derived from the lawfulness of this migration. First, the obligation of migrating from the abode of war to the abode of Islam. Al-Qurtubi reported from Ibn al-Arabi that this migration was obligatory in the days of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and remained obligatory until the Day of Resurrection. The migration from Makkah to al-Madinah that was severed by the conquest was specifically the intention to go to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); if one remained in the abode of war, he would be in disobedience. This is from "Tafsir al-Qurtubi," part [number], to the end of it. This is the point of evidence. And every abode of war is like that in this regard.
