An elderly woman who has neglected making up Ramadan for a long time, knowing it is obligatory for her, but left it off due to laziness, and is now unable to do so

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: An elderly woman has neglected making up Ramadan for a long time. She knows that making it up is obligatory for her, but she left it off due to laziness. She now has illnesses that do not allow her to fast. Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you, on her situation: what is she required to do now?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory for her to feed one poor person for every day, because making up the fasts is obligatory for her. However, if she is unable to do so due to an inability that is not expected to end because of her age, she must feed one poor person for every day.

The questioner : May Allah reward our father and our shaykh with the best reward. And as the honorable shaykh promised, or rather ordered, these questions will be preserved, cleaned up, and presented, if Allah wills, in the next meeting, if Allah wills. I would like to remind the brothers that lessons by the honorable shaykh here in the mosque and lessons by the students of knowledge in this country have been posted on the mosque door. I ask Allah to reward our shaykh with the best reward for us. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon His servant and messenger Muhammad.
