The questioner : He says: May the Shaykh be respected! The incident of the explosion has distressed us and every person of zeal, just as you did, may Allah guide you, in the sermon and the decision of the Council of Senior Scholars, but what distressed us even more was the explosion of the newspapers and media in attacking the religious people. So what is your advice in such a matter, may Allah guide you, the Exalted?

The Shaykh : Yes. I say: The attack by the people of evil and corruption on those who are committed to this occasion is expected, because such people take advantage of opportunities to speak what they want, and this is one of the harms of these explosions. Indeed, one of their harms is that people have come to look with suspicion at every religious person, even though we know that the one who possesses the true religion cannot possibly commit such a heinous act, and that those who are truly committed disavow this act and deny it with their hearts and tongues. But the people of evil exploit every situation in which they see an entry point for them, and they speak what they want. However, I say: Allah the Exalted said in His Book:
(16) And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein (17) When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. (18) Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].
[Qaf 50:16-18]
, but there is something else: and that is that some of the ignorant among the common people forbid their son from being committed and religious, and say: Look at what the committed and religious people did. This is a mistake, because those who committed these acts were not compelled to do so by their religion. If they had truly returned to the texts of the Book and the Sunnah, they would have known with certainty that this act is forbidden, and that it is not a religion that brings one closer to Allah, but rather it is aggression upon the servants of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. So it is not permissible for the common people to take this as a way to warn their children from commitment based on the correct methodology. Yes.
