If the children succeed and the father gives to his successful children and leaves out the ones who failed, is this contrary to justice?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the same point, the topic of justice, he says: "O honorable Shaykh, if the children succeed and the father gives to his successful children and leaves out the ones who failed, is this contrary to justice?"

The Shaykh : This is not contrary to justice, because giving to the successful ones is a way of encouraging them in their studies and acquisition of knowledge. If the others succeed, he gives to them as well. But if one succeeds in the first round and another in the second round, should the prize be the same? Answer: No. The requirement of justice is that it not be the same, because the one who succeeds in the first round is ahead of the one who succeeds in the second round.

The questioner : This is not a question. He says: "O honorable Shaykh, we have become accustomed to you holding a course in the Islamic sciences every year, in the morning and evening of each day. This year, we saw your name mentioned in the course to be held in Riyadh. When will the morning classes for us in this country begin, and what will be studied, if Allah wills?"

The Shaykh : The lessons are as in previous years, in the morning and evening every day, if Allah wills. As for the subjects, they will be announced in due time. However, whatever lessons from last year were not completed, we will continue to complete them, if Allah wills. As for the Riyadh course, you know that Allah the Exalted has facilitated means for people now through the telephone. There is a telephone in the mosque where the course is held in Riyadh, yes, and a telephone with me, so I teach those in Riyadh via the telephone, just as we taught those in America, in England, in Bosnia, and elsewhere via the telephone. A person sits and speaks as much as he wishes, then the door is opened for questions, and there is a question-and-answer session, until you can hear the boys crying there. Yes, and this is from the blessing of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and His facilitation in opening up knowledge, where knowledge can now reach the east and west of the earth in one minute. Yes. The beginning, if Allah wills, is on Saturday. Saturday is not this one, meaning this Saturday has ended, Saturday...

The questioner : May Allah reward the honorable Shaykh with the best reward and benefit us with his knowledge, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon His servant and Messenger Muhammad.
