What is the ruling on photographing the bride at the wedding for the sake of a memento so that those who did not attend the wedding, among the close female relatives and friends, can see her?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : What is the ruling on photographing the bride at the wedding for the sake of a memento so that those who did not attend the wedding, among the close female relatives and friends, can see her, knowing that the photo is only of the bride and not the groom?

The Shaykh : I see that there is no need for that. All women desire marriage, just as men do. But the hardship is either from their guardians, or from the highness of the mahr and its difficulty, or from the fact that the woman wants to remain in her academic work, as a teacher or a student, or for other reasons. And the fact that a woman does not desire marriage unless she sees a photo of her sister, nothing can make her do so, and she does not benefit from it. Therefore, I see that this photo is forbidden and not permissible. And uglier than that is photographing the woman and her husband at their first meeting. Especially if it is in video, because video depicts the image as alive.
So it is obligatory for us to fear Allah (Mighty and Majestic):
And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out, and He will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever fears Allah, He will make ease for him in his affairs.
, and that our desires and argumentation do not lead us to fall into evil and corruption.
