Knowing—this girl says—that her father was feeding a poor person on her behalf for each day, is it obligatory for her daughter to make up the fasts for her? The Shaykh : It is not obligatory for her to fast on behalf of her mother, and it is not prescribed for her to fast on behalf of her mother to make up those fasts, because her father did what was obligatory, which is feeding a poor person for each day, and this is the apparent situation.

The Shaykh : That the illness that afflicted her mother was not expected to end, because it continued with her for the entire two years and then she died.
