The Shaykh : There is no sin on you in this situation, because your daughter’s husband has a lawful source of income and a forbidden source of income. If a person has a lawful source of income and a forbidden source of income, there is no blame on others to eat from his food or drink from his drink. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from the sheep that a Jewish woman gifted to him. It is also established that he (peace and blessings be upon him) died while his armor was pledged to a Jew in exchange for barley he had bought for his family. This indicates that if a person’s wealth contains both lawful and forbidden elements, it is not forbidden for a person to consume something from it. Yes.
