The questioner : The listener repeats his second and final question, saying, "I hope you will inform me of the beneficial books after the Book of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), which is the first in the list, containing the hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah."
The Shaykh : Yes. The hadith books we recommend are the authentic, relied-upon books among the scholars, such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, or the books that collect and clarify the authentic hadiths, such as "Bulugh al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam" and "Umdat al-Ahkam". These are two beneficial books for the believer because they are compiled according to the chapters of Islamic jurisprudence. Also, among the beneficial books is "Riyad al-Salihin", which is well-known and recognized among people, as it contains many hadiths that encompass the noble of character and the excellences of deeds. Yes, indeed.
