What is the ruling on removing leg hair for a woman?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The ruling on leg hair?

The Shaykh : Yes, there is no difference in that. The answer to this issue can be derived from the reasoning I mentioned earlier in the hadith. In reality, it appears that the scholars differ on this point because of what he (peace be upon him) said:
Allah has cursed the women who pluck their eyebrows
Does this mean plucking the eyebrows only, and nothing else? Or does it mean the eyebrows and the face, and nothing else? Or is the text general?
You will find some commentators mentioning the eyebrows,
Allah has cursed the women who pluck their eyebrows
meaning their eyebrows, and you will find other commentators adding to that, saying their faces. And you will find commentators other than these two groups who state the general ruling, and this is the correct view if we look at the aforementioned reasoning:
Those who change the creation of Allah for the sake of beauty.
. There is no difference between a woman changing Allah’s creation in her eyebrow by plucking it or shaving it, and her plucking the hair on her cheeks, and her plucking the hair on her legs. All of this falls within the generality of his statement (peace and blessings be upon him):
Those who change the creation of Allah for the sake of beauty.
. Therefore, let no one be deceived by what he may find in some books interpreting *namis* as plucking the eyebrows or the face, and then stopping there, and understanding by the opposite implication that anything else is permissible. In that case, he is not relying on any legal evidence whatsoever. Rather, it contradicts the reasoning of the mentioned hadith at the end of the hadith first, and it is an addition that contradicts the generality of the hadith. He said:
Allah has cursed the women who pluck their eyebrows
. He did not say: "Those who pluck their eyebrows, their faces, their arms." He only stated it generally, and the generality should be applied as it is until a restriction comes to restrict it. Despite the fact that there is no such restriction in any of the narrated hadiths during the discussion. The reasoning mentioned at the end of the hadith confirms this generality:
Those who change the creation of Allah for the sake of beauty.
, as we have explained and elaborated.
