The questioner : In the hadith of Aisha in Abu Dawud regarding the prayer for rain: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out when the sun began to rise, sat on the pulpit, and said Allahu Akbar and praised Allah… the hadith. Do we say that the recommended practice in the festival sermon is to begin with the takbir, as is done these days, or to begin with the sermon of need?
