We were masters in this world *** We built with justice ...
We built and we opened ... *** ... ... ...
Islam guided us *** And the hand of mercy supported us
The earth bloomed with our deeds *** And the mouth of days glorified us
The Faruq was the ruler *** And al-Khalid with the sharp sword
And Ibn al-Jarrah was our accountant *** Most honorable of the Companions of Abu al-Qasim
Yarmouk the bridge and Hattin *** Emrosah and Qinnasrin
The earth trembled with our army *** The Atlas bears witness and China
Knowledge bowed to our scholar *** And art knelt in our museum
And justice soared in our state *** And the dawn shone in our hands
Truth is the banner of our justice *** And love is the foundation of our brotherhood
We became an example in all the earth *** For generations our message
How many times did people carve stones *** An idol or they worshipped cows
How many times did they stray from the religion of tawhid *** So we came to lift the veils
Truth did not know like our call *** ... ... ... .
