A poem by "Khalid al-Din Wani."

"Khalid al-Din Wani":
"... its course *** Who is the shepherd of the pure ones other than their shepherd?
Do you think I ... drink it *** seeking to increase from its pastures?
Boasting and arrogance are not of my character *** My goal is not the wealth I gather.
But my rhyme is honored *** because I offer it to the Chosen One.
Love has made me stingy and kept me awake *** and my eyes have not dried their tears.
And longing makes me stingy and distances me *** with memories, its hidden aspects appear.
And the temptations almost pull me *** and the soul plays when it is distracted.
But I choose his garden *** and the purest of its fragrances are its essences.
The Chosen One is unique without likeness *** and the pages of history narrate it.
His armies were supported by awe *** and the angels of the Most Merciful protect it.
And the earth, all the earth, is his mosque *** and his place of purification, and the religion is its judge
And the message of the Chosen One is manifest *** on earth, in its far and near places.
So the religion is the religion of Allah, He preserves it *** and the law of the Most Merciful, He exalts it.
And the truth is his call, made easy *** for people, its goals are not hidden.
The Chosen One, the Elect, is our leader *** and the leadership of the Elect, we sacrifice for it
We do not respond to any call other than his *** Will the singers return to the idols?
We protect his creed with our souls *** and we defend it against those who oppose it.
Taking the Qur'an is our beginning *** and with a Sunnah that is authentic, we implement it.
We do not know interpretation that diverts it *** from what we inherited of its meanings.
We do not accept negation in an attribute *** or accept likening Allah to creation.
The understanding of the Companions, we do not waste it *** and the best of understandings is its clarity.
Whoever follows the Chosen One, quoting *** his words, knows best what is in them.
The best of generations are the Companions of the Guide *** by the testimony of the Guide to their people
And the Successors and every one who follows them *** honor its passing and its continuation.
Generations do not reach the rank *** of the Companions, no matter how hard their striver tries.
So the justice of the Companions, the Qur'an immortalized it *** and time narrates it.
And people have known their virtues *** so generation after generation recounts it.
The Chosen One is characterized by gentleness *** and gentleness in morals is its height.
And the trustworthiness of the Chosen One, his enemies tested it *** and the opponent praises it.
And forgiveness is his habit, so his gathering *** was too narrow for the freed ones.
And truthfulness in his words *** and his deeds indicated its foundations.
His sincerity among people is an example *** and a heart whose folds are pure.
And the leadership of the Chosen One is clear *** neither confusion nor ambiguity reaches it.
And war is an exception to its sale *** for it has shaken it and ended it.
Patience in hardship, he practiced it *** and likewise in the turmoil, its steadfastness.
War is not the origin of his call *** but it protects those who respond to it.
So war breaks him who incites it *** and he who prays for it suffers loss.
The fire burns the cup of one who touches it *** and it stirs up its enemy by agitation.
Whoever responds to the religion, he is a brother *** and the brotherhood of faith, we wear it.
And the Chosen One made brothers, so no lineage *** is higher and no kinship equals it.
The religion is a bond for souls *** and the religion cares for them and builds them
By Allah, a love that no motive *** from this world contradicts it.
Whoever makes the world his goal *** its steps to the Hereafter are destroyed.
The Chosen One fulfilled his trust *** and he is the trustworthy one over its hidden aspects.
And Allah perfected it and completed it *** and the Chosen One among them clarifies it.
The Chosen One did not leave his community *** until every hidden aspect of it became clear.
The Guide did not fall short in his call *** and Allah protects him and protects it.
And he bore the dangers smiling *** and the smile of the Chosen One weakens them.
And on the straight path when he left us *** white, no one who walks it deviates.
Whoever increases in Islam as an innovator *** has burned himself with the fire of its stoker.
Every innovation in our law *** is a lie and it accuses it of deficiency.
I believed in Islam completely *** its rulings, no deficiency comes to it.
I believed in the Most Merciful who completed it *** and chose Ahmad who fulfills it.
I believed in the Chosen One who clarified it *** until everything in it became manifest.
I believe that the Companions did not conceal *** but clarified the rulings and its containers.
Until it came to us pure *** no one succeeds except one who responds to it."
