The Shaykh : Then he mentioned the fifth of the six characteristics, saying (peace be upon him): ; meaning the death from which no one flees or is able to flee, so it is specific to every human being, Sunan Ibn Majah 4056Hasan (Darussalam) and ; meaning death. So if a person considers it unlikely—such as signs that have not yet appeared, like the sun rising from the west, or the emergence of the beast or the Dajjal; if he considers this unlikely; does he consider it unlikely regarding death, which is an inevitability that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has decreed for every created being?! Especially humans, for whom He has decreed that their lifespan be among the middle ages, not exceeding sixty or seventy.
Therefore, the Muslim must not rely on what he may consider unlikely, such as the emergence of the Dajjal, the beast, or the sun rising from the west, for before him is a matter from which there is no escape, which is the private matter of his own death; therefore, a person must hasten to do good deeds before he is suddenly struck by this death that has been decreed for every living soul.
