The questioner : Regarding the topic of the vacation, he also asked, saying: It is observed that some guardians, and particularly husbands, leave their families for the entire duration of the vacation. They do not provide comfort to their children nor travel with them, but rather occupy themselves with their companions and their group. Perhaps they leave their mother, their father, their wife, their children, and the maintenance of their kinship ties, and these ties are neglected. Is this permissible for them in the sight of Allah?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt that the family has the greatest right over others to what brings them joy and comfort.
