Continuation of what is observed regarding some guardians, and especially husbands, who leave their families throughout the days of the holiday and occupy themselves with their companions; is that permissible for them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The family has more right than anyone else to what brings them joy and comfort. If the family members were to gather together and go out on a trip together, that would be better and more appropriate, provided there is no free mixing of men and women. As for what the questioner mentioned, that some people go with their companions and forget their spouse and forget their family, there is no doubt that this is bad conduct and is not praiseworthy. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Begin with yourself, then with those in your care. ابدأ بنفسك ثم بمن تعول
And although this was regarding wealth, it applies to other matters as well. Your family has more right to you than anyone else. However, if his family does not wish to go out, and he goes out with his companions and then comes to his family every two days, or every three days, or every day, because the matter is easy and praise be to Allah, now cars bring the far away close, then there is nothing wrong with that and there is no hardship for the person in it.
