I have a shop for selling women’s items and necessities; will I be held accountable for sin after my death if the heirs fall into temptation while working in it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Al-Halabi : He saysThe questioner : Our Shaykh says: I have a shop exclusively for women, for buying and selling. This shop may expose the worker to temptation. Will I be sinful after death if the heirs or those working in it after me fall into temptation?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt, no doubt in that, because this is as we explained regarding the hadith
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, and one who records it, and the two witnesses لعن الله آكل الربا وموكله وكاتبه وشاهديه
Sahih Muslim 1598
. The hadith stems from cooperation in evil, and the Quranic principle forbids all these means that lead to evil, namely His saying, Blessed and Exalted is He:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. وتعاونوا على البرّ والتّقوى ولا تعاونوا على الإثم والعدوان
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
. Therefore, His saying, Blessed and Exalted is He, in Surat Yasin came:
and record what they have put forth and what they left behind ونكتب ما قدّموا وآثارهم
[Ya-Sin 36:12]
. If their deeds are good, they are recorded, and if their deeds are bad, they are recorded. This is confirmed by his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
And whoever introduces a bad practice in Islam, he will bear its sin and the sin of whoever acts according to it until the Day of Resurrection, without anything being deducted from their sins ومن سنّ في الإسلام سنة سيّئة فعليه وزرها و وزر من عمل بها إلى يوم القيامة دون أن ينقص من أوزارهم شيء
