Discussion of the Muslim Brotherhood and their methodology, explanation of the hadith of the division of the Ummah

The Shaykh : As for the Muslim Brotherhood who shout at the top of their voices, "Jihad in the path of Allah is our noblest aspiration," or as they say, we say to them: Nearly a century has passed since your call, and you are still in the same place. As we say in Syria, there is a military expression, "stay in your position and move," meaning that when the company commander orders the army to march, he says, "Forward, march," and they move in military formation. Then, when he wants to order them to stop, he says, "Stay in your position, halt." But when he wants them not to stand still, but to be moving, he says, "Stay in your position and move." So they neither advance nor retreat. This is like the Muslim Brotherhood, because they have neither fought in jihad nor learned and acted. They are lagging behind in jihad, contrary to their claim, and in knowledge and action, because they have no knowledge. It is enough for them that they denounce those who call to following the Book and the Sunnah, and they call that a sect and a call to divide the Muslims. And I say a clear word: truly, our call, which is the call of true Islam, is divisive, because the Qur'an divides. That is because it distinguishes between truth and falsehood. So our call distinguishes between truth and falsehood. Consequently, our call, which is the call of truth, distinguishes between the one who is right and the one who is wrong. And so did the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) when he came with his call, as history informs us that the father fought his son and the son fought his father, all in the path of adhering to true Islam. So there is no surprise that the call of truth in our time, as it was in the first time and in all times, is divisive between truth and falsehood and between the one who is right and the one who is wrong.
These people ignore the texts of the Book and the Sunnah which say:[Al-A'raf 7:187] [Al-Baqarah 2:243] And the Sunnah comes, as is its custom always and forever, to detail for the Muslims what was summarized or abbreviated in the Noble Qur'an. So, none of these people, especially those among them who belong to the people of the Sunnah and the community, but he shares with us in faith in some of the authentic hadiths and in his knowledge of them, but they ignore them and do not respond to them. For example, the hadith of the sects, So the Muslims, by this authentic report, will divide, and reality confirms this report. It does not need the authentic report to be confirmed by reality, because it may happen in the future, but it happened a few years after the death of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), where the division began and the partisanship began, and so on. So why do these people ignore this authentic report that the Muslims will divide, and that the Muslim who wants to be from the saved sect must act according to what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Companions were upon, in this sense as well? And this is also known to the Muslims, the people of the Sunnah and the community. They claim, I mean by this the hadith of al-'Abbas ibn Sariyyah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us a sermon that made our hearts tremble and our eyes shed tears. So we said, "Advise us, O Messenger of Allah." He said: And in the other hadith, Sunan an-Nasa'i 1578Sahih (Darussalam) So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) warns us against innovations in matters. And we today, when we warn the Muslims against disobeying the Master of the Messengers and committing the innovations that have spread and overflowed the lands of Islam, they say to us, "You are dividing the Muslims." The truth is that these people want to treat the humiliation of the Muslims not according to the methodology of the Master of the Messengers, who described the disease and the cure in the hadith of 'inah, This is the disease, disease, disease, Sunan Abi Dawud 2486Hasan (Al-Albani) disease. The retribution is Sunan Abi Dawud 3462Sahih (Al-Albani) The treatment is So the meaning of returning to the religion is a very great matter that these partisans or sectarians or Sufis or others ignore. Returning to the religion requires two very great things from the scholars of the Muslims: one is to study Islam with a correct study, because between us and the religion that Allah revealed to the heart of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) are fourteen centuries, and what was not part of it has entered it, whether in the matters of creed or in the rulings and jurisprudence or in the conduct. What was not prescribed in the first era has entered all these matters. So the scholars must take the sieves and sift this Islam from what has entered it, as was reported from some of the scholars of hadith when it was said to him that so-and-so the apostate, when he was arrested and saw that death was before him, wanted to vent the anger of his heart and said, "I will not die until I have placed five thousand hadiths on your Prophet." So that scholar, the hadith scholar, said, "The enemy of Allah lies. How? When so-and-so and so-and-so, the hadith scholars, took the sieves and they were sifting these hadiths, extracting them from the authentic hadiths." Thus, the scholars of the Muslims in this time must sift Islam from what has entered it from all the sides I mentioned: in creed, in rulings, in conduct, in morals, and the like. Then the second thing, and this is what I allude to by the first thing, which I call the purification of Islam. Purification is necessary. The second thing is educating the Muslims on this purified Islam. So where is the purified Islam now with these groups that oppose the call of truth and even claim that it divides? And I testify that it truly divides between truth and falsehood and between the one who is right and the one who is wrong. It is the Sunnah of Allah in His creation, and you will not find a change in the Sunnah of Allah.
These people ignore the texts of the Book and the Sunnah which say:
but most of the people do not know."
ولكنّ أكثر الناس لا يعلمونbut most of the people do not show gratitude.
ولكنّ أكثر الناس لا يشكرونThe Jews divided into seventy-one sects and the Christians into seventy-two sects, and my Ummah will divide into seventy-three sects, all in the Fire except one. They said: Who is it, O Messenger of Allah? He said - in the famous narration - : It is the Jama'ah - and in the narration that explains it, he said - : It is that which is upon what I and my Companions are upon

Indeed, whoever lives among you will see much disagreement. So hold fast to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me. Cling to them with your teeth. And beware of newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance
