Is sitting in the home after the Fajr prayer to recite the Qur'an and remember Allah until the sun rises the same reward as in the mosque, and then this person gets up and prays?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is sitting in the home after the Fajr prayer to recite the Qur'an and remember Allah until the sun rises the same reward as in the mosque, and then this person gets up and prays two rak'ahs?

The Shaykh : It seems the questioner is referring to a hadith reported on this matter:
Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah the Mighty and Majestic until the sun rises, then prays two rak'ahs أن من صلى الفجر في جماعة، ثم جلس يذكر الله عز وجل حتى تطلع الشمس ثم صلى ركعتين
meaning after the sun has risen the length of a spear,
then it is like the reward of a Hajj and 'Umrah فإنه يكون كأجر حجة وعمرة
or as it came in the hadith. However, the scholars differed regarding the authenticity of this hadith and acting upon it. Nevertheless, it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he
He used to sit in his place of prayer after praying the morning prayer until the sun rose. Good. كان إذا صلى الغداة جلس في مصلاه حتى تطلع الشمس حسنة
This is found in Sahih Muslim. As for the assignment of reward for this, if the hadith is authentic, we take it upon ourselves, and the favor of Allah is vast. If it is not authentic, then we have been sufficient.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
