If one prays and then goes out to his house and sits until after the sun has risen, and then prays, does he have the reward of the one who sits in the mosque?

Fatwa number ( 15688 )
Q: It is my habit to pray the Fajr prayer in the mosque, and after finishing, I return
to my home and engage in reading the Qur'an until the sun has risen to the height of two spears, and I pray ten rak'ahs with the intention of the Dhuha prayer. This is what I do every day, by the grace of Allah, to Him be praise and thanks. However, one of my colleagues, may Allah reward him with good, drew my attention to the following, saying: (The meaning of the hadith is... then he sat in his place of prayer until the sun rose...); therefore, my question to your eminence is: Do I receive the expected reward while I am in this state, or is it necessary for me to sit in the mosque? I ask your eminence for guidance, and to you be thanks and peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.

A: Your action is a good action, both the reading of the Qur'an and your Dhuha prayer after the time of prohibition; all of this is a good action. But what the Sunnah indicates is that sitting in the mosque after the Fajr prayer is the action of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as in the Sahih of Muslim from Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him):
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sit in his place of prayer after praying Fajr until the sun rose beautifully.أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا صلى الفجر جلس في مصلاه حتى تطلع الشمس حسناء
, and because this action is an extension of the prayer, as it is established from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him.الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه الذي صلى فيه ما لم يحدث تقول: اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه
Sahih al-Bukhari 445
.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
