Is it true that after the prayer and seeking forgiveness three times, it is not reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said, "O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: Is it true that after seeking forgiveness after the prayer three times, it is not reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
"O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity." اللهم أنت السلام، ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام
Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani)
I heard it from one of the brothers?

The Shaykh : This is established from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he would conclude the prayer, he would seek forgiveness three times and say:
would ask for forgiveness three times, then he would say: “Allahumma Antas-Salam wa minkas-salam tabarakta ya Dhal-jalali wal- ikram” (O Allah, You are As-Salam and from You is all peace, Blessed are You O Possessor of majesty and honour).” استغفر الله استغفر الله استغفر الله ثم يقول: اللهم أنت السلام ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام
Sunan Ibn Majah 928Sahih (Darussalam)
The point is that no matter who a person is, there must be some shortcoming in his prayer, which is completed by seeking forgiveness. Also,
O Allah, You are Peace. اللهم أنت السلام
it is as if you are saying: O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace, so O my Lord, grant me peace in my prayer and complete its reward and recompense. These are two types of dhikr established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)
O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity. استغفر الله استغفر الله استغفر الله اللهم أنت السلام، ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام
Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani)
.

The questioner : Shaykh Muhammad, does this questioner mean adding "Blessed and Exalted are You"? Is this what she wrote?

The Shaykh : "Exalted are You" is not reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) in this context, but it was reported in another context. It is better in the dhikr to restrict oneself to what is reported, keeping everything in its proper place.
