What is the ruling on one who enters the state of ihram for Hajj alone (ifrad)? Does he have to break his ihram? And what about the one who combined (qiran) but did not bring the sacrificial animal?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... He should break this state of ifrad and make his Hajj a tamattu' Hajj, then exit the state of ihram. Then, on the eighth day, he should enter the state of ihram for Hajj again. When the three months of Hajj are announced, it is permissible for the Muslim to enter the state of ihram in any of these three months. This is the intended meaning of specifying the time for entering the state of ihram for Hajj. If he was in the state of ifrad, or if he was in the state of qiran but did not bring the sacrificial animal, and he entered the state of ihram at the beginning of Shawwal, he remains obligated to stay in his state of ihram, and that entails great hardship. As for the one in the state of qiran who did not bring the sacrificial animal, his ruling is the same as that of the pilgrim who performed Hajj alone (ifrad). Therefore, he must break his Hajj into an 'Umrah. For this reason, the most prescribed and easiest option is the tamattu' Hajj, because it begins with 'Umrah, from which one exits the state of ihram within a day or two. Then, one waits until the eighth day enters, which is the Day of Tarwiyah, the day before 'Arafah. On this day, he enters the state of ihram for Hajj again, after having performed this 'Umrah in advance of his Hajj, as is our practice today. This is the answer to the previous question.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And beware of that.
