The Shaykh’s warning against the error of overextending the obligation of a blood sacrifice on one who leaves off a rite of Hajj without being informed of his sin.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : There is a question.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : Who passes the miqat and begins...?

The Shaykh : Yes, you had started, then you forgot, and nothing made me forget it except Shaytan, that I should remember it. It is the habit of some of them that when asked about an error committed by some of the pilgrims, and this person who made the error is asked whether a blood sacrifice is required of him or not, he answers with what he sees, either saying, "There is no blood sacrifice required of you," or "A blood sacrifice is required of you." What I see, in the absence of valid evidence in the Sunnah, let alone in the Noble Qur'an, that obligates the pilgrim to a blood sacrifice for every error, distraction, or forgetfulness that occurs from him, despite the absence of such an obligation of blood sacrifice, is that before answering the questionerThe questioner : who asks whether a blood sacrifice is required of him or not, whether his answer is an obligation or not, he should say, "I only did it if it was an error on your part,"
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. ربنا لا تؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا
