The questioner : Regarding the stoning, does one first stone for himself and then for others, meaning in that order, or not?

The Shaykh : It is not a condition.

The questioner : No one stipulates this in the books of jurisprudence.

The Shaykh : In a hadith:
Begin with yourself, then with those in your care. ابدأ بنفسك ثم بمن تعول
- he laughsThe Shaykh : (may Allah have mercy on him) -

The questioner : But from one position, do not change your position.

The Shaykh : No, it is not a condition.

The questioner : It is not a condition.

The Shaykh : Yes ... he says takbir and tahlil.

The questioner : I asked you when we performed 'Umrah, and you told me that the context mentioned that supplication is when ascending the hill, and the sa'y was not mentioned in it, so is it necessary to supplicate even at the end of the seventh?

The Shaykh : Memory may fail.
Al-Halabi : Then he descends to perform sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Run, for God has prescribed running for you. اسعوا فإن الله كتب عليكم السعي
Mishkat al-Masabih 2582
, of course, then you remember, our Shaykh, then he walks uphill until he reaches al-Marwah and ascends it, and does there what he did on al-Safa of facing the qiblah, saying takbir, declaring the oneness of Allah, and supplicating, and this is one sa'y. Then he returns until he ascends al-Safa, walking where he walked and running where he ran, and this is the second sa'y. Then he returns to al-Marwah, and so on, until he completes seven sa'ys, the end of the last one being on al-Marwah. It is permissible to ride between them, but walking is more pleasing to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And if he supplicates during the sa'y with the words:
My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Most Noble, the Most Generous. رب اغفر وارحم إنك أنت الأعز الأكرم
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2957
, there is no harm, as it is established from a group of the Salaf. When he finishes the seventh sa'y on al-Marwah, he cuts his hair, and with that the 'Umrah is completed, and what was forbidden to him by the ihram becomes permissible for him, and he stays until the end. This is what was mentioned.

The Shaykh : Benefiting from the mutton and storing it at my daughter's place, so mutton is better. But when we want beef, we want to take some pieces, and distribute the rest. But the closest relatives are more entitled to kindness. So when this thing happened to us, the ijtihad differed, even if the cost is more, but that is closer to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). So you are left to arrange your head, and thisAbu Layla : is with you.

The questioner : We follow you.
