Is it permissible to listen to a woman reciting poetry?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says and asks: You have detailed the ruling on singing, but if the singing or poetry is lawful according to the Shari'ah, yet the one reciting it is a woman and not a man, what is the ruling regarding her and the listener?

The Shaykh : But what is it?

The questioner : But the one reciting it is a woman and not a man; what is the ruling regarding her and the listener?

The Shaykh : Of course, if she is a non-mahram woman and she is reciting poetry, there is no doubt that this recitation, even if the words of the poetry are permissible as we explained an hour or more ago, since the one reciting the poetry is a woman, the woman's voice in reciting poetry has a special tone that men may be tempted by; therefore, it is not permissible to listen to her.
