What is the ruling on the regular voluntary prayers (rawatib) while traveling, and the ruling on making up the Sunnah of Dhuhr after Asr?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our imam—may Allah reward him with good—combines Dhuhr with Asr by advancing them. After they pray the Asr prayer, are they required to stand and pray the post-Dhuhr Sunnah after the Asr prayer, after the congregation?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : They say: It is found in books, and another person testified that—Allah knows best—it is reported that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the regular voluntary prayers (rawatib) while traveling, and he... What is your opinion on this?

The Shaykh : If you asked them for a book, would you have stayed silent? There is no such hadith in the world. As for the night prayer, when the Messenger (peace be upon him) traveled, he would pray while riding on his camel, standing and gesturing with his head, making his prostration lower than his bowing. As for the regular voluntary prayers (rawatib), he did not pray any of them except the Sunnah of Fajr and the Sunnah of Witr.

The questioner : Shaykh ... .

The Shaykh : As for the first issue, making up the Sunnah after Asr, this also has no basis, and I do not know if any scholar says this.
